Guttenberg is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise. We have hiking trails from all skill levels that include scenic bluff top views and leisurely strolls along the banks of the Mississippi River. Bikers can also take in the views on the Mississippi River Trail and the Great River Road. You can explore all the river has to offer with marina access north and south of the Lock and Dam. The City of Guttenberg is part of the Clayton Ridge Community School District, which has 1:1 technology in grades PK-12 and a 98.1% graduation rate. Clayton Ridge also partners with area businesses to offer worked-based learning opportunities and offers 27 dual credit college courses through Northeast Iowa Community College as well.
