Guttenberg's Electric Dept. is in charge of the electric distibution system for the City.

Electric Rates: 

Residential
APPLICABLE: To residential customers for all domestic uses in single-family dwellings and individual metered apartments.
Energy Charge (all kWh) - $0.1133 per kWh
Customer Charge - $6.25 per month per meter

Commercial
APPLICABLE: To commercial 1-phase or 3-phase customers for lighting, heating, cooking, refrigeration, power to motors, and other approved uses. Small commercial includes any 1-phase or 3-phase customers with an average monthly demand of less than 20 kW. The average monthly demand may be reviewed annually or upon request of the customer.
Energy Charge (all kWh) - $0.1129 per kWh
Customer Charge - $11.50 per month per meter

Large Commercial & Industrial
APPLICABLE: To commercial and industrial 1-phase or 3-phase customers for lighting, heating, cooking, refrigeration, power to motors, and other approved uses with an average monthly demand greater than 20 kW.
Demand Charge (all kW) - $11.50 per kW
Energy Charge (all kWh) - $0.0844 per kWh
Customer Charge - $23.00 per meter per month

Large Power Interruptible Service
APPLICABLE: To industrial 1-phase or 3-phase customers for lighting, heating, cooking, refrigeration, power to motors, and other approved uses with an average monthly demand greater than 20 kW and with the capability to reduce load upon request of the utility.
Demand Charge (all kW) - $6.75 per kW
Energy Charge (all kWh) - $.0834 per kWh
Customer Charge - $23.00 per meter per month

Residential customers outside the corporate limits of the City of Guttenberg
APPLICABLE: To residential customers located outside of the corporate limits of the City of Guttenberg for all domestic uses in single-family dwellings and individual metered apartments.
Energy Charge (all kWh) - $0.1258 per kWh
Customer Charge - $9.50 per month per meter
