Along with the emergency services provided to our citizens, Guttenberg's Public Safety Program  includes the Flood Control Protection Service.

Guttenberg is extremely proud of the men and women who volunteer to serve on the Guttenberg Ambulance Service. Our team of drivers, EMT, and paramedics provide excellent service for a all types of emergency needs. Guttenberg Ambulance Service  is managed through the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.

Flood Control

As a community along the Mississippi River, Guttenberg's flood control system is essential to the public safety of our community.
Our flood control system includes flood protection levees, pumping stations, drainage structures, ditches, culverts, ponding areas, and ponding area right-of-way markers, that are or will be established, constructed or placed for the purpose of controlling flood waters in the corporate limits of the City.
